For a Knocked-Out Tooth: Handle the tooth by the crown (not the root), rinse it gently with water without scrubbing, and try to place it back in the socket. If that's not possible, keep it moist in milk or saliva until you reach our office.
For a Broken Tooth: Rinse your mouth with warm water, save any broken pieces, and apply gauze to any bleeding areas. Use a cold compress to reduce swelling.
For a Lost Filling or Crown: If possible, temporarily reattach the crown with dental cement or toothpaste. Avoid chewing on that side until we can properly restore it.
